It just blows my mind that a tucked in turtleneck wearing ajushi with major dad bod is a global pop culture icon. He would blend in so well at a golf course with other middle aged korean men in titleist visors lol. I like to think it was because psy was a breath of fresh air looks wise. Most of the the other k-pop artists were indistinguishable, and gagnam style came out in a time when there were a lot of boy bands in western pop culture, so they wouldn’t have stood out as much.
Also based on the clock behind them it’s done in one single cut which means they must have had to try it so many times to get it right. Reminds me of World of Warcraft boss fights where you practice day after day for weeks until you get it right and beat the boss.
