Don’t Ask, Don’t Get Lost
There’s a lot to see in North Korea, and visitors can expect to get a tour around the city and the countryside when they come by. But tours of North Korea can be intense, mainly because of the attached rules. For starters, no photographs are allowed, not even photos of everyday life such as this one. When caught taking photographs, one can be jailed or have their equipment confiscated and the photos deleted. Plus, visitors can’t afford to get lost. Getting lost can get both you and the tour guide in trouble – the kind of trouble that involves jail time.
