In the icy north
The story that unfolded took place in the very north of Russia, at a freshwater lake named Lake Vygozero. It’s located in Siberia, one of the coldest and most unforgiving regions of this planet. Measurements around the lake concluded that the water barely surpasses -20 degrees Celsius, which makes it impossible for life to survive in it. Just swimming in it for a few moments would cause terrible hypothermia and you would freeze in a second. But a group of animals found themselves in it
